My first memory of being introduced to cosmetics was when my Mother took me to a department store in St. Louis to buy her Estee Lauder "Youth Dew" fragrance because it was the time of year when you could receive the special purchase with purchase item - a treatment/color cosmetic kit. It was so beautiful and full of wonderful products... I was hooked! My mother taught me the importance of good treatment and to take care of my skin. Color, I was informed would come later but not until you learn how to take care of your skin first! My Grandmother Brianza left an everlasting impression on me. She was a hard working immigrant who was poor but in her home hung a picture that I thought was the most beautiful images I ever saw. As a little girl I would go to her house and see this picture on the wall, gaze up to it and think to myself -what a beautiful woman and how wonderful to be her... someday I want to look and feel like that! The picture stayed with me as I grew up and still hangs on my wall today. The picture above called "Beauty Secrets" is the inspiration for the packaging design of our Brianza Bella line. I believe that sharing the beauty secrets that my mother shared with me is a special moment in a young girl's life. A time that all women share with someone dear to them -a grandmother, mother, auntie, cousin, godmother, sister or our close circle of friends.
